Chris Blais, Facilitator
Chris Blais is passionate about co-creating spaces where people feel welcome, accepted, and truly heard. Chris believes we are all capable of our own healing, and that with the right containers and guidance, people can discover their own path toward wholeness. Through meditation, mindful movement, and group connection, Chris offers practices that empower people to listen inwardly, honor their own stories, and nurture both personal and collective healing. Mindfulness and meditation have been transformational in Chris’s own life, offering a way to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with what matters most.
With training as a yoga therapist, somatic coach, trauma-informed teacher, and experience in yoga of recovery and recovery support, Chris brings a unique experience to their work. Formerly a Division I college field hockey coach with a degree in Exercise Science, Chris also values play, discipline, and the wisdom of the body.
Balancing playfulness with depth, Chris aims to co-create spaces of discovery, care, and community where people can connect with themselves and each other.

Community Mindfulness Project is a nonprofit on a mission of delivering accessible mindfulness programs for a healthier Fairfield County. Despite the proven benefits of mindfulness, local under-resourced neighborhoods face barriers to these tools. We're breaking those down those barriers with free in-person and virtual meditation sessions.
