Our Programs

We deliver accessible mindfulness sessions, workshops and courses for a healthier Fairfield County.

Mindfulness Available to Anyone, Anywhere

We offer 3 core community-based programs that unlock access to deeper practice and learning mindfulness skills to help reduce unhealthy stress and build community.

Mindfulness helps people through the ups and downs of life, offering tools that support a sense of inner strength and steadiness. When we feel steady, we are able to show up more fully for others.

Why Practice in Community?

Engaging in community mindfulness practices and programs is vital for fostering deeper connections and mitigating feelings of loneliness.

  • Empowering personal well-being: Mindfulness equips individuals with the tools to navigate personal challenges and emotions, fostering a sense of inner strength and resilience. This empowerment enhances our own ability to connect authentically with others.

  • Fostering shared experiences: Participating in mindfulness sessions and community-based training within a community setting creates a shared space for individuals to connect over common struggles and triumphs, reinforcing the understanding that they are not alone in their journeys.

By integrating mindfulness into public centers and partner environments, our community members not only enhance their personal well-being but also contribute to building less biased and more connected, and supportive communities.

Join a single session, dive deeper in a workshop, or take a structured course like our 6-week Intro to Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Our programs support well-being and make mindfulness accessible to all.

Why Fairfield County?

We work in Fairfield County, Connecticut because it has one of the largest wealth gaps in the United States, leading to significant disparities to the access of mental, emotional and physical health programs.

Our approach:

  • Prioritizing under-resourced areas with the highest unmet needs using data-driven β€œCommunity, Personal Wellbeing, and Neighborhood” Indexes.

  • Offering free and partner-sponsored mindfulness programs to make mental health support accessible to all.

  • Reaching systemically vulnerable populations by partnering with community-based nonprofits and schools.

  • Empowering individuals with the agency, dignity, and tools to support their emotional well-being.
