Live, in person mindfulness sessions are happening again at the Darien Library! Come together as a community and participate in meditation sessions that are designed to support your physical, psychological, emotional and social well-being. No experience is necessary and all ages are welcome.
15 Min Burn Out Busters Every Wed @ 9AM
Burnout, empathy fatigue and vicarious trauma afflict many non-profit workers and first-responders. Mindfulness has been shown to help reduce these challenges and build our resilience. Join CMP for 15-minute mini-mindfulness sessions each Wednesday at 9AM. No experience is necessary. Just log on or dial in and join a community of carers taking time to care for themselves.

Mindfulness + Movement for Kids + Family in Partnership with the Aldrich (in person)
On Saturday, June 19th from 1:00-1:30 PM join the Community Mindfulness Project and Aldrich Museum Education Assistant Lorena Sferlazza outdoors in the Museumβs Sculpture Garden with your kids and loved onesβto reflect on the power of CONNECTION and how you can change the world with it. Together on this Juneteenth holiday, we will experience guided mindfulness and movement activities that, like the Aldrich Care Box, tap into our shared humanity and can help us see, hear, and recognize our connection to those around us. Perfect for families with children of all ages.

Mindfulness Tools for People with Parkinson's in Partnership with Shakers Anonymous
CMP is honored to partner with Shakers Anonymous to offer four 30-minute sessions providing tools to help people with Parkinsonβs and their caregivers manage stress and support their physical, mental and emotional well-being. In each session weβll share one or two mindfulness tools to help down-regulate the nervous system, and feel more grounded, connected and resilient. There will be brief guided meditations and a handout to support your use of these tools. Each session is stand-alone, no registration is required, and all are free and open to the public.
