Where mindfulness takes root 🌱 Join us this holiday season

Have you ever had the opportunity to practice mindfulness with others

What did it feel like to have a chance to share a moment of quiet, a grounding deep breath? As part of this community, we hope you've experienced that with us.

As the buzz of the holiday season grows, we invite you to explore the opportunities below for a moment of pause and connection. Maybe we’re already practicing at your workplace, your local school, or the park or library right down the street…

We’ve learned that mindfulness is most powerful when it’s practiced together… in the places where people already live, work, and connect.

That’s why our programs are built through partnerships — with nonprofits, schools, and public community centers — creating trusted, trauma-sensitive spaces where calm and connection can grow.

Local Nonprofits

From recovery programs to workforce development agencies, CMP partners with Fairfield County nonprofits that support individuals at major life transitions.

We’re in re-entry programs, inpatient recovery centers, and direct-service organizations — offering practices that take people away from their daily grind to restore balance, reduce stress, and build compassion.

Our partners tell us that mindfulness has changed the way their staff and clients connect. It’s helped teams communicate more effectively, reduced burnout, and deepened trust among those walking through trauma and healing side-by-side.

Through these collaborations, mindfulness becomes not just a personal practice but a shared language of safety, presence, and dignity.

Community Centers & Public Spaces

CMP’s free community sessions bring mindfulness to libraries, parks, and neighborhood spaces — making wellbeing accessible to all, no questions asked.

In these gatherings, strangers can become friends.

Each shared breath, reflection, and moment of quiet helps reduce loneliness, strengthen empathy, and remind us that we’re not alone in our challenges.

By embedding mindfulness where people already feel welcome, we’re building local resilience and connection across all ages and backgrounds.

It’s the perfect way to meet your neighbors!

Schools & Educational Centers

Our school-based programs reach teachers, staff, and students — nurturing emotional regulation, focus, and compassion in the classroom.

Educators tell us they feel more equipped to manage stress, respond with patience, and create calmer learning environments.

Students share that they’re learning how to pause, breathe, and navigate difficult emotions — life skills that ripple far beyond school walls.

Mindfulness in education isn’t about sitting still; it’s about creating the conditions where everyone can get into a healthier mindset and learn from each other.

Each of these partnerships — in nonprofits, community spaces, and schools — reflects our shared belief that wellbeing is a collective responsibility.

When individuals learn to pause and notice the present moment, they leave the room feeling, thinking, and behaving lighter. It really is a ripple effect at a time when the alternative of daily life without CMP feels heavy.

We’re grateful for every partner, supporter, and engaged neighbor that joins us and makes this programming possible. Check out our full calendar of events to join a mindfulness session near you, or online!

Thank you for being part of this mindful, connected community.

With gratitude,
