Jasmine Middleton, Facilitator

Jasmine Middleton is a certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, trained through the two-year program with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. She is also a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, Certified Restorative Yoga Teacher, and teaches restorative yoga and meditation at Sala Tree Yoga House in Stamford, CT. Her teaching centers on creating brave, inclusive, and compassionate spaces, especially for Black, Brown, and marginalized communities, rooted in the belief that rest, mindfulness, and self-preservation are birthrights.

Jasmine’s work is grounded in accessibility, community care, and the understanding that mindfulness is not separate from the realities people are navigating in their daily lives. She is passionate about offering practices that support people in reconnecting with themselves, honoring their lived experiences, and accessing moments of steadiness, rest, and belonging.

Jasmine was drawn to CMP because of its commitment to making mindfulness accessible beyond traditional wellness spaces and bringing these practices into under-resourced communities with care, dignity, and respect. She believes mindfulness should never feel out of reach or reserved for a select few. These practices belong to everyone, and she is honored to join CMP in offering mindfulness in ways that are practical, compassionate, and rooted in community care.

β€œI was drawn to CMP because the mission immediately felt deeply aligned with the work I feel called to do. So much of my work is rooted in making mindfulness feel more accessible, practical, and connected to real life, and CMP is serving the communities I care most about and feel passionate about supporting. It feels meaningful to join a team bringing these practices into communities in ways that are rooted in care, compassion, and dignity”

Community Mindfulness Project is a nonprofit on a mission of delivering accessible mindfulness programs for a healthier Fairfield County. Despite the proven benefits of mindfulness, local under-resourced neighborhoods face barriers to these tools. We're breaking those down those barriers with free in-person and virtual meditation sessions.
