CMP is a non-profit working to create a nationwide network to provide secular mindfulness and meditation education through community-based sessions and outreach activities. We have led over 500 community meditation sessions with more than 7,000 attendees in the past three years.
Our work has been successful with corporations and leadership organization as well as with faculty, staff and students in schools. CMP has also worked in conjunction to bring mindfulness programs to after-school enrichment programs and organizations that work with at-risk youth, youth leadership, victims of human trafficking and groups serving people with health challenges.
Our founders and facilitators have collectively been trained in many evidence-based mindfulness programs including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Cultivating Emotional Balance and Mindfulness in Schools Project's .B program, Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher Certification Program (Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield).
CMP is currently developing and testing a Mindfulness Facilitator Certification Program in order to increase its facilitator corps to meet requests for meditation and mindfulness education, which continue to grow at a rapid pace. Please contact us if you are interested in having CMP work with your organization.
