What to Expect
The Day Includes:

9:00 AM · Arrival Coffee, tea, and a slow start in [VENUE]'s [beautiful setting detail].
9:45 AM · Opening Sit A guided meditation led by CMP's founding teachers. No experience needed. Come as you are.
10:30 AM · Nourish A seasonal brunch by [CHEF/CATERER], shared at one long table.
11:30 AM · The Ripple By now you'll feel it. This is when you hear from those whose lives changed because someone in a room like this one decided everyone deserves to feel it too.
12:30 PM · Closing Practice + Farewell A short final sit, a small gift to take home, and the rest of your Friday, returned to you calmer than it started.

The Present is one morning where all of it waits outside. An intimate, beautifully appointed retreat: guided meditation, yoga and more with our most senior facilitators, nourishing food, quiet conversation, and permission to be completely still. No ballroom. No podium. No rubber chicken.

Here's what happens at every retreat we've ever led. Somewhere near the end, someone opens their eyes and asks the same question: why doesn't everyone get to feel this?
Because a few miles from where we'll gather, in the county with the steepest wealth disparity in America, thousands of our neighbors are carrying far more than a full calendar. Educators on their last reserves. Frontline workers. People in recovery. Teen mothers. Victims of gun violence. Their struggles are not a metaphor, and they have fewer to no tools, time, or quiet space to set it down.
Since 2014, Community Mindfulness Project has been changing that: 3,000+ free sessions, 34,000+ attendances, partnerships with 55+ schools, libraries, and community organizations. Every session accessible. Every person welcome. Because calm works on everyone. It just has to reach them.
